DBInstaller consists of 2 separate tools, the developers side, which we refer to as DBInstaller, and the client side, which we refer to as DBSetup. These 2 tools are part of the DBInstaller package and need not be downloaded or purchased separately.
  • DBInstaller is used to create installations.
  • DBSetup is used to run and is distributed ("royalty-free") with your installations.

DBSetup will become part of your distribution, and it is the tool that your "client" will execute to run the statements you have included.

The tool will ask for information about the database, and preferred execution method and start running the scripts as you defined in DBInstaller.
